These are some useful (mostly United Nations) “Global/local awareness days”.
They are excellent days to target for an awareness or action activity.

Mr. Schrama coordinates our yearly Terry Fox Walk,
with videos, trivia contests, a run for older students,
and a big map tracking our progress across Canada
with loonie donations and stickers. Our school raises
hundreds of dollars each year for Cancer research.
