The
Global Education Club
People Love Us!
It's fun because we help everybody. I learn that you
should help lots of people. I like when we have bake sales because we're giving
the money to people who need it.
Katelyn, student
I think the Global Club is great because it helps by
raising money for organizations. We help the environment by recycling. I enjoy
it because it helps other people and that makes me feel good. It teaches us to
be kind and responsible when we grow up.
Brian, student
I like the Global Club because I wanted to be in it since
Grade 3. It's good to be in it because you can help the world. It's good to meet
new people from other classes, in the club.
James, student
It's really fun because
there's a whole bunch of neat stuff. There's one in a million teachers who care
about the world. It's a choice to do. You can share ideas. No one here is the
boss. It's important to help the world because everybody deserves to have love,
food, care, homes, and work.
Julie, student
I like
the Global Club because it's a nice choice to do when
you get to help people and it's fun. I learn that the world needs
our help. As kids you can do something to help the world too. We need to help
the world because adults sometimes seem too busy and kids want to help
sometimes.
Karen, student
Global Club is an
opportunity to help the world and children who are in need. It makes me feel
good about myself.
Melia, student
I believe that the
Global Club is great way to learn about the world around you and about the
problems that others are encountering in their daily life. It is a good
way to learn how to treat others with respect and appreciate how others have to
live. You do many good things for others in this club. Way to go -
great work!
Christine, parent
The Global Club is great because you help the people in
the world and in our own community. You get to meet new students. I like having
fun. We learn about other cultures, and world problems, and how we can fix
them.
Amanda, student
It's fun. I like to
help people and endangered animals. I learn that people should have homes, food,
peace, love. They shouldn't fight, they should make friends. They shouldn't
pollute. When they throw garbage on the ground they make our environment all
dirty.
Saphire , student
This is a very special club with a very special
agenda. It goes straight to my heart. Having seen kids sleeping on the street
when I was growing up in Africa, the work of this group means a lot.
Karen, mom and College professor
We've been nominated for and received several awards for our work as a Global Club!
